Sara Arrington is originally from Michigan, where she was involved in youth theater from a very young age before getting into film and television work. Her long list of film credits includes the The Jungle Book, directed by Jon Favreau and released in 2016, The Trials of Cate McCall, with Kate Beckinsale, Nick Nolte, and James Cromwell, Savages, directed by Oliver Stone, Safe House, with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, Cinema Verite, with Diane Lane and Tim Robbins, and Faster, starring Dwayne Johnson. She has also appeared in Earth to Echo and SWAT, among other films. Sara’s television credits include recurring roles on the Bosch, Edge of Normal, E-Ring, and guest spots on Cold Case and The Shield. She also boasts a long list of stage credits, including playing Juliet in a Charles Jehlinger Theatre version of Romeo and Juliet. She continues to enjoy the production side of theater as well. Sara and her husband, actor/producer Brendan Wayne – grandson of famed actor John Wayne – are the proud parents of three daughters.
Sara will join us for the Thursday evening screening of, The Divide, which chronicles the story of Sam Kincaid, an aging rancher with a failing memory. Sarah plays Kincaid's (Perry King) estranged and independent-minded daughter, Sarah.
