Julie Rogers Pomilia, granddaughter of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, is the youngest daughter of Tom Fox, Dale’s only biological son.
She has appeared on TV multiple times, with her famous grandparents on variety shows, commercials, and Christian broadcasts. She has performed at The Grand Ol’ Opry, Carnegie Hall, and multiple Western Festivals around the country, often teaming up with Roy Rogers Jr. and the Sons of the Pioneers, the group her grandfather began back in 1933. She is often seen, riding in The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.
Julie has taught elementary school for over 25 years, working as a calligrapher on the side. Together, with her husband Gino, they have six grown children and live in Santa Clarita, CA with their two palomino horses and three border collies.
“Growing up in the multi-cultural Rogers’ brood, you were either adopted, foster, a descendent of Roy, or of Dale, she says. “So we had very loud, diverse, and lively holidays when we would all get together out at their ranch in Chatsworth, CA. It was such fun. Grandma and Grandpa, though insanely busy, never missed a birthday or a school play. They instilled in us, the same kindness, faith, and integrity, they showed to the world on the big screen. I couldn’t have asked for better grandparents.”
