Stunt Pic 1diamondfarnsworth6 John Moio 2.docx Ashton
In the 1950s and 1960s you had to look for their credits at the end of the Western movies – names like Yakima Canutt,  Richard Farnsworth and Joe Yrigoyen; Alice Van, Donna Hall and Sylvia Durando. In movies of the 1970s Dean Smith, Loren Janes, Polly Burson and Diamond Farnsworth. These are the men and women behind the stars who fall off horses and buildings, wreck stagecoaches and take the punches – they are the stuntmen and stuntwomen of Hollywood.

Join Diamond Farnsworth, Hollywood stuntman and coordinator for the NCIS TV series, stunt coordinator/director John Moio and Ashton Moio who will bring 20 of their colleagues to the 27th Lone Pine Film Festival. These professionals will entertain the audience with “A Tribute to the Cowboy Stuntmen” on location in the Alabama Hills.

Stunt Pic 3Over 400 Western movies have been filmed in the Alabama Hills and have included the action and dangerous falls, spills and fight scenes that keep us riveted to the silver screen. The Festival will offer its first ever stunt tour to an Alabama Hills location where Diamond and his friends will perform a series of Western stunts, footfalls, general pranks, and a simulated bar-room fight.  All the participants are Hollywood stunt professionals and as such are all well trained in the required safety needs in even the smallest demonstrations.

Note: There will be no pyrotechnics, no live ammunition, no vehicles, no horses or other animals.
