ROGERS' LONE PINE MUSEUM RECEIVES GIFTS OF FEDORA AND HELMET

December 31, 2002: Bob Brown, the famous leather carver, contributed two hats from famous movies made here. The first is the fedora worn by Walker Brennan in BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK. You may remember the great story Ann Francis told several Festivals ago about the on-set feud between Walter Brennan and Spencer Tracy. If you haven’t heard it, but would like to, just ask and we will include it in a future column. The second item was the helmet worn by Victor McGlaglen in GUNGA DIN. This will add greatly to the exhibit about that hallmark Lone Pine film in the Museum.
