DIRECTOR MICHAEL EMERSON TO PARTICIPATE IN FESTIVAL PANEL

Michael Emerson, director of the award winning documentary When Cowboys Were King, will be attending the Festival and participating in the panel on B-Westerns following the screening of the film at 2 PM Saturday. The panel will include other film historians of B. Western specialists such as Dick Bann, Robert Birchard, Ed Hulse, Packy Smith and Ed Phillips.

Michael Emerson has several film history documentaries premiering in the months ahead. His film on Cecille B. DeMille will premier on Arts and Entertainment channel in October and play on the Biography channel in November. His film Hollywood's Greatest Villains should premiere early in the new year on the History Channel. When Cowboys Were King won the Accolade Award. Seldom has such a collection of film specialists on the B western been gathered on one stage before.
