BURT KENNEDY REMEMBERS MUSEUM IN HIS WILL

August 9, 2002:  Screenwriter and director Burt Kennedy has remembered the Museum of Lone Pine Film History in his will and the estate has told us that Burt left us his copies of the four Randolph Scott westerns made in Lone Pine that he wrote.
The original scripts for Comanche Station, Ride Lonesome, Seven Men From Now and The Tall T will all be given to the museum collection. He also left us lobby cards and other movie memorabilia from his den. Burt attended the Film Festival several times before his death and was a great guest and a wonderful friend. His talent certainly enriched our local film history with those four fine films.
