May 5, 2002: Peggy Stewart was recently
honored with a star on the Walk of Western Stars in the City
of Santa Clarita The walk was started by the Downtown Newhall
Merchant's Association in 1981 "to honor the legends of western
film, television and radio who have contributed to American's heritage
since 1900." Peggy is well known among our fans from several
appearances at our Festival in recent years. Among many other appearances
in film over the years, she worked with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans
