MIKE AND JAN HOULE RETURN FOR 2008 WITH SPECTACULAR RANDOLPH SCOTT TOUR

Our primo location hunters have agreed to do an extended location tour with lucky fans for the 2008 Film Festival. To prepare for it, they were in town this week finding those wonderful and rare locations that only they can discover. It will be quite a treat for those lucky enough to get tickets for their tours.

They will show you where the station from The Tall T was located and then focus on Cattle Pocket locations for Seven Men From Now and Comanche Station. They will also share some of the many sites they found for The Tall T not too far from the Gunga Din bridge location. But their most recent discovery is the site of the adobe station from Seven Men From Now. They were amazed to not only discover piles of rocks that marked the well but the corners of the building. Small pieces of plaster were left behind there, like so many sets from the 1940’s and 1950’s, but also one large chunk.

They will divide the group in half and each taking one, they will allow the avid location hunters even to search out a few places after they have oriented the group. Not only insights into the creative work of Boetticher and Kennedy, but the participants will have the thrill of personal discovery.

Tickets are sure to go fast as they will go on sale on our website. Only two tours are scheduled: Friday, October 10, 2 pm to 5 pm and Sunday, October 12, 9am to 12 noon. The Houles also will give a small manual of the sites visited as a souvenir to the participants
