Camping in Lone Pine

Lone Pine has a fine selection of campgrounds, some high in the mountains and others on the valley floor - you can pick your location depending on the weather and the season. Some campgrounds have several amenities while others are primitive and require you to bring your drinking water.

Campgrounds:
Portagee Joe     Tuttle Creek     Diaz Lake     Lone Pine     Whitney Trailhead    Whitney Portal

RV Parking
There are a number of RV parks in the Lone Pine area. See http://rvparkreviews.com/regions/California/Lone_Pine.html for more details.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce has some parking available right in the center of all the action during the Film Festival.  A dry camping area is behind McDonalds Restaurant and it costs $25.oo a day.  Call the Chamber of Commerce 760-876-4444 for information and reservations.
